Who needs fiction?
The American Left's lack of a sense of irony is only exceeded by their hypocrisy
I just have to share. A friend of mine took a screenshot for me.
When I opened my email, it took me a full five minutes to get control of myself, roaring with laughter, tears streaming down my face.
He is a proud resident of the Great State of Florida. For whatever reasons I have not probed him on, he has apparently had an account on Reddit for years. These are deep waters into which I shall wade at a later time.
For now, he shared this with me. Apparently on Reddit, one can join various communities that are focused on a particular interest. Seems logical enough. This one he is involved with is all about Florida. Someone posted a video clip about Senator Rick Scott speaking at the Turning Point Conference. In it, Sen. Scott is opining that the American Left, specifically Big Tech, silences and censors everything they can. This is not particularly new news, however important.
My friend tried to post a comment as part of the online discussion, after posting one a few minutes earlier providing a thoughtful counterpoint to someone howling inchoate hatred of Governor Ron DeSantis. The moderator’s text appears in red, explaining why my friend’s comment was not allowed to be posted.
Magic. Just magic. Someone tries to post a comment laying out the apparently radical idea that argumentation and debate is preferential to censorship - and he gets censored for trying to make that point.
